Day 1. Open Forum Workshop “Understanding How to Produce a Higher Value Product”

This Open Forum Workshop will:
- Brief participants on the opportunities for supplying a higher quality sheep meat product – from Paroo Shire (and SW QLD region) into higher value markets elsewhere in Southern QLD
- Provide insights into appropriate animal nutrition – that will facilitate this supply
- Provide an understanding of key elements of animal management – to support supply of an appropriate product (animal handling that complements a superior sheep, supplied to a more discerning, high value customer)
- Provide other insights from the Paroo Shire Sheep Meat Value Chain Project – including ability to access more professional personnel.

These two practical sessions will provide handy hints on understanding animal behaviour.
